Another great fans with Sony`s SFDB bearing system has appeared. Scythe announced new S-FLEX series with 3 very quiet 12 cm models :

http://overclockers.ru/images/news/2006/01/14/scythe_01.jpg

Specs are :

SFF21D -> 800 rpm, 33.5 CFM, 8.7 dB, 12 V, 0.1 А;
SFF21E -> 1200 rpm, 49.0 CFM, 20.1 dB, 12 V, 0.15 А;
SFF21F -> 1600 rpm, 63.7 CFM, 28.0 dB, 12 V, 0.2 А.

Scythe guarantees 150.000 hour lifetime and 2 years warranty is applied - prety much impressive i`d say.
Recomended price is just ~15$ for long-life ultra-quiet high-performance fans which can be used as additional air cooling for case or your WC rad as well :)

Very nice! Curious as to if the fan speed is variable? Im looking for 12-15dba fans max. Will be great for my HTPC!

Anyone know what / whos bringing them first? Any international trusted reseller?

Yeah, Carlin. Show me where I can get some of those at 120mm.

And the 8.7dba measurement casts my doubt over the claims of the whole product line. Where did they measure that?

That's 21dba at it's lowest speed, 78cfm at it's highest speed. Manufacturer's ratings are always questionable anyway.
