Hey asked this at the ol overclockers.com forums but i want a second opinion.

Is there any known set vmod for the kt4vl? Is this the board similar to another msi board that has one readily available?

Also, any way to find some schematics for this board? Or a general idea of the location and pinouts of any certain regulator that might control the Core voltage?

thanks a lot

OK some time during the next few days im going to do the MSI KT3 ultra mod to this board. Its got the same exact HIP6302 chip, not to mention almost the same exact layout. I assume it will have the same effect, seeing as adjusting the feedback resistance will always up the voltage. I may have a little different outcome of total volts - maybe 1.95 or 2.05 instead of 2.

But we will see. Any comments please tell me before i ruin something.

if it's HIP6302, you might try www.oc-inside.de to double check.

Im not seeing a whole lot about the HIP6302 over a oc-inside. Im using the info from mods4ME right here http://www.mods4me.com/reviews.php?op=showcontent&id=16&page=1

Of course specs being the same basically from the HIP6301, I may find some useful information at the site you said. thanks

Well the mod went very well. As of right now BIOS setting of 1.85v is yielding about 1.97v. Im happy with that. So i guess this proves that the msi kt4's vcore can in fact be modded.
