I use a Nexus Vantec 5.25" controller. I think some other companies have another version of this (bleh OEM.. go figure).
Anyways, sometimes after prolonged usage, the fans will shut off. Fan controller LEDs are still on, but all the fans die. CPU temps spike to 39 idle, and GPU hits like 60s after a bit of gamign. I only realized this when I thought my system was to quiet after some gaming..
Yesterday as I was powering on my system, I noticed the LED of the fan controller flicker as Windows was booting. Fans died r ight there. LEDs were still on but moving the knobs dont help. Putting it on "full blast" doesnt turn on the fans. WTF. Checked the power ocnnector and its tightly in.
My system specs below show a 600W Seasonic. I don't think my system should have trouble handling 1 medium panaflo, 1 medium yate loon and a VF700.
