I have a Hercules GF3 Ti200 64mb which is SUPPOSED to have 4ns(250MHz, 500MHz DDR) RAM yet I get artifacts at anything over 490MHz~.

I'd like to mod my card but I don't know what needs to be done. I basically just want to give my RAM and core a Voltage boost to get speeds up.

Anyone?

Thanks

I used this guide (http://www.xbitlabs.com/video/titanium-overclocking/) over at xbit labs to voldmod my Ti500, they also give instructions for the Ti200...

humm when i saw that score at the orb i thought it was fake, duron at 2500Mhz?? clocks on the ti200 ?
If it is a true score, congrats :toast:

2449mhz, not 2500mhz.

it's not a Duron.

It's a TbredXP.

Ti200 clock@ 265/568. ;)

I've done Vmods and I've gained very little.

Using 909ohm resistors for VCore and External Memory circuits and 475ohm~ for internal memory circuits.

I now have 530MHz stable for my RAM, used to only get 490MHz. I think I should be getting higher, my RAM is supposed to be 4ns(It's a Hercules Ti200) and now my voltage is 3.6v rather than the standard 3.2v..... This is lame, it just artifacts :(

Then my core, gained nothing..... Before without mod I used to be able to get 230MHz stable, maybe sometimes 240Mhz and even 250MHz.

Now I'm lucky to get 220MHz :(

Anyone got any ideas for me?

Bear in mind I have AGP voltage at 1.8v, AGP frequency at 66MHz, Fast Writes and Sideband addressing enabled. I have a k6-2 heatsink and fan on core, and nothing on the card is getting hot!

What could it be, have I just got a VERY poor overclocking Ti200?

Tried lowering AGP Voltage to 1.5v, makes no difference :(

I have a multimeter, what do I have to probe to check the voltages?

would this vmod also work on the Leadtek gf3 Ti200 tdh ?

IamAnoobieCheez so congrats, it's a great score, 13k should be easy. ;)

I've worked out the problem.

If I set AGP frequency to 50MHz I can clock my card MUCH more, I just ran 3dMark 2001 at 240/540 fine.

Interestingly, with the slower speeds of 200/460, if I raise the AGP frequency to 70MHz or more it locks EXACTLY the same way it does when I have the card clocked high on a 66MHz AGP bus.

So could it be a power issue over the AGP bus?

I'm gonna look into modding my GFX caard to provide it's power directly from the PSU.

Just played CS for the last 2.5 hours at 245/530, not a glitch in sight :)

Has anyone modded their GF3s in this way, direct power from PSU?
