I wonder if they'd take offense if I called and asked them to kiss me where the sun don't shine?:D
When I see stores do this, my answer is to remember and remember long..and NOT shop there for anything..
Do you hear that monarch?

I guess my 4800+ will have to due for a bit longer for that price. Hell I could buy 3 of them and hope for one that overclocks like crazy for that price. However I am sure that this thing will be a killer CPU cant wait to see some numbers with it.

yes mate but think about the future, with good drivers and multi threated software, we could see maybe 1.5 to 2.0 the performance of an fx-57

Man that's just ridiculous, that sad part is, they'll get it too.

Also, just a quick question, how many posts do you have to have to be able to see/access the for sale forums?

see, now stuff like that just pisses me off, and makes me not want to shop at places like Monarch.

Fortunately I know we don't have anyone here stupid enough to buy that, so I'm not gonna worry. :)

Well i think the fx60 will do worse for the 2d benchers :( to bad. I dont see them running higher then the fx57 coz the second core.

I don't think that was a typo how does one confuse $1,159 with $2,500. they probably were just hoping some one would buy it before every one asked if they were crazy. all that talk about not not shopping their any more motivate them to fix the price I bet.

I wouldn't bet 2x the performance of an fx57, maybe 1,5x-1,75, that would be really good, think in SLI, it don't get the 2x performance, even it doesn't share the ram... I'd say the performance boost percent would be less in dual core than SLI.

One day later and they took the price down to $1159.69. Now, I wanna see the faces of poor sobs who shelled out $2500 for it yesterday.
"Yes! Maybe I pay twice as much but, I'm getting it one day earlier!"

I am sure I could have had one before all of these RIP OFF stores. But 2.6Ghz just isn't worth for me. I want 3GHz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D I guess at the new price it is still cheaper than buying dual 252s...

thats stupidly expensive. From OcUK it can be had for £790 thats like £1400+. If i had that sort of money i wouldnt buy one now any way. Just seems to be a bit of a waste.
