I have a client who has asked me to build him a multimedia machine. We have yet to drill down on the details, but at this point he is sure he wants to have the best possible sound within about a $300 budget for the sound part of the package. I'm guessing I should be able to pick up the basic X-Fi card for $110-$130. I'm not much of an audiophile so I'm looking for suggestions for speakers to go with this rig. I'm still using some old Monsoons I got before they got out of the PC speaker business.
