Ok, I am switching to a closed loop and I searched the forum, looks like all I need to fill/bleed is a T a length of hose and a cap, or fill it submerged. Any ideas/sugestions. The submerged fill seems the cleanest looking, but the T/hose seems easiest to maintain.

Also if I go with the T what kind of cap do I use on the line (3/8 ID), i mean is it something I can poick up at home depot or will I need to order it?

Check out the fill and bleed kits here these come in the Swiftech Quiet Pwrs and work great. XTW (http://www.xtwerkz.com/liquid_cooling_parts.htm)

go the cheap way and get a T and a piece of viny tubing from ur hardware store. For the cap just be creative. I had a papertowel for a while and now I have upgraded to a whine cork that i trimmed to fit. The best way I have found to fill a T system is to set up a temporary reservoir in a taperware container or what not. Have it before the pump (if ur tubing has a joint there) or just use the break at the T. If its far away from the pum just suck on the other end like a straw until the water goes through the pump.. then let it rip and after all the bubbles are gone hook the two pieces of hose together under water. Keep ur T well filled.

Depending on the size tubing you're using, you can get garden hose sized threaded plugs and a cap from Home Depot or Lowes. The plugs are friction fit into the tubing and the cap just screwed on. The threaded plugs are in the plumbing section with all the other PVC/plastic couplers, tees, etc. The end caps are in the garden section with the hoses. Worked great for me when I water cooled; righty-tighty, lefty-loosey. Mine was sort of based upon this design, the tee is in the middle of the picture and will give you some idea of where to put yours based upon your flow.

If you have a microsoft usb mouse, they ship in the box a small green adaptor for using it as a ps2. That's what i use as a cap, it enters well in the tub and it won't fell off

One more question that I have is this. Does it matter where I put the T for fill and bleed should it be in any particular order, or can I just split the tube any old place I like?

Im assuming that I should have it on pull side rather than the push side of the pump (based on the picture above)

You can't put the t-line anywhere but it's easier to fill when the line is before the intake of the pump. For bleeding make sure that the T is the highest part of your sys

stole it out of the lab where I used to work. They bought it to make some columns a few years ago and it was just collecting dust :)

it would be even cooler if it extended up towards the top of the case
