I'm using sp2004.

Is setting Priority to 1 high priority or is 10 high priority?

Thanks

Set it to 9 as this is Normal Priority (when you look at Task Manager). Setting it to 10 does not stress your CPU/Memory harder but only makes it unresponsive to other tasks and slows down the system big time.

Another quick question:

Does running prime at low priority affect prime stability (increase/decrease the overclock)?

this would just alllow all other programs to take precedence over sp2004. i would just run it at 9 to make sure it could fully test

Provided the system is idle, I presume SP2004 will utilise all the available resources isn't it? Because I never bother about priority settings before. Reason being, normally when I prime, I do my work such as typings, readings and things like that in which I believe does not take much of the resources needed to stress the CPU. Making the priority higher would render my system useless. If it does have any effect, will it be significant?
