Well its a very simple bench yet very stressfull. We have 2 versions of the exe. One for midline vidcards etc x800xl and lower. One for high line cards X1800xt 7800 gtx and sli setups. It also does a fine job of stressing cpu 100% load. Still working on adding dual core support as for now it will put both cores at 50% load. You will need fraps as we haven't installed a fps counter yet

here's the zip with the midline vidcard exe installed.

I get 999 fps on low detail yet 75 fps on high with my x1800xt.

and here's the high line vidcard exe which you just copy over the original exe. I would use this with sli and although 6600gtsli setups may not fare so well.

I get 45fps with everything at lowest quality with my x1800xt with this one.

Post your results and your thoughts thx. I would appreciate anyone running sli to let me know if there is little to no performance gains as we will update the code for dualcore we may have to update for Sli as well as i don't have SLi to test it with.

Doesnt put my CPUs at 100%. Maybe one of the logical CPU's, but not one full core.

Heh, I own everybody's score!

Low: 2484 (http://www.davidandjemma.com/images/temp/2484.jpg)

High: 2424 (http://www.davidandjemma.com/images/temp/2424.jpg) (fell off quite a bit there eh?)

But seriously, I got 838 on high and 19 on low. Not bad for an old R350 eh? :)

heh you managed to revive an old thread. We designed this to test ATI's open gl performance as its always seemed to be they're flaw.
