Honestly, for like $20-$30 more you can get 2 7800gtx's...

Two of these would look better and be much cheaper: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150124 .

This is such a hard decision. I'm seconds away from buying two, if these were GTXes I wouldn't even have a choice. GTs make it hard.

I belive so, each "board" will only be getting 4 PCI-E lanes though.
Can 2 of this card run SLI with sli-dr mobo?
I dont believe so, at least there isn't any physical SLI connector on that ... but it could do the transfers over the PCI-Express bus, if the software drivers are coded to do so.

It's possible but there are no drivers that do that yet...

Two of these in SLI is crazy power draw. You would need an 850 watt PSU for a fully loaded system I bet..

Now honestly, what moron wrote in the 5 per customer limit.. If someone buys 5 of those things for their own personal use, their credit card should be revoked and they should be oaper cut to death with 100 dollar bills.

If it is being sold to the big public so Nvidia or ASUS will have to support it on the drivers....

When does the gigabyte quad sli board hit the shelves? If you can afford two of these, you can probably afford 4.

This is quite funny, they are so expensive that they are still in stock lol
How much higher do they score in 3dmark 05 as compared to standard gtx512
