I've been meaning to buy a router to add folding rigs to my cable modem.
This is what I JUST ordered.
Linksys BEFSR41 Instant Broadband EtherFast Cable/DSL Router
with a built-in 4-port 10/100 Switch
Here is the link to Newegg listing..
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=28&manufactory=1413&DEPA=1&sortby=14&order=1
Has anyone used this router for setting up their folding farms?
Any advice or input is welcome, thanks!

Yup, that should work fine for yea.
I had one for quite some time and a power surge around here took it out on me, so Im presently stuck with 1 system online at a time. D'oh that reminds me I need to get another one SOON! LoL
The easiest thing in the world to setup too. Just plug your modem into it and go out of it to each system. Simple enough!

Thanks IFMU, you were right.
I got my FedEx from Newegg today!

Upgraded some hardware, plugged in the router, inserted Cat5 cables in proper holes and....
Walaaaaaaaaaaa! I then changed the factory password to help keep me secure.

Now I have two PCs online, my main system folds all night as screensaver and I have a second PC, XP2100 folding FULL time now! Looks a great start to starting a farm.

Now it is time to put all this other hardware to use, add some stuff and get farming! :toast:

Thanks to the Xtreme, I learned to feed my addiction!
