Hi, I am new to this forum and arrived from a link that Morphling1 had posted. I make custom shrouds/heater cores and thought I would post my project to give this forum another view of mounting a heater core. After browsing the forums I do recognize other members from other sites.
The first photo is of my new jet sprayer that will be used on a D-Tek TC-4 water block. I have dimpled the center channel on the TC-4 over the DIE exposing more area for the jet sprayer to do its magic.

After removing the barbs I decided to angle the barbs so that routing of the tubing would not be a problem.

Side view of the fan cut out with the fan grille installed. The photo was shot at an angle so it appears that the holes do not align, but everything is aligned perfectly.

This photo is showing the poly faceplate mounted to the fan. This will be used to attach a foam seal so the side panel will seal against the foam.

This is a simple drawing of how the system tubing will be routed.

My system is using a four-barb heater core. By doing so I will eliminate any T-fittings used to bleed or fill the system. Also I will eliminate the Y-fitting currently being used on three barb tops. The barb that is at the very top is my fill/bleed barb. A hose will go to the top of the case.
The heater core is mounted sideways to what everyone else has done. I wanted fresh air to come into the H/C from one side and exit the other side. In a few of the photos the fans are not arranged correctly, I was in a hurry to take the photos. The last few photos has the correct airflow.
An additional 120mm fan will be cut into the side case to supply air to the case so the case will have positive pressure. The Antec P/S has two fans pulling air from the P/S as well as the case. The rear two 80mm fans have been reverse to blow air onto the north bridge. The heater core fans are PanaFlo's 86 CFM 120mm.
Current the system is running the Jet Sprayer and I have been able to reach 1941 stable with my Palomino 1600 T-Bird core.
