XS Member AndreYang has gotten his hands on an Unreleased Asus Intel motherboard based on the upcoming i975x Chipset from Intel.

Ha ha :p: Actually the 955XE ... and all the Presler's are a godsend clock wise...with 4.5 on an EE on air possible, along with 5ghz on the single core cedarmills...its a far more convincing reason to stay intel if you already have a ddr2 rig.

Although if you're on air your system will sound like a jet engine. These will be nice to pair up with Merom when they finally hit though.

the bios is in the middle of the pci e 16x well at least the battery a nightmare if you want to remove it

I have never needed to pull the battery in years and that was to clear bios password.

holy crap, i counted 8 SATA ports! but looks like 1 ide(???) and 1 floppy, and what a stupid place for that 4 pin molex supplement power thing being RIGHT by the memory slots. I'd also like to see that black floppy lookin connector switch places with the 24 pin power.

The wierdest thing about this board is that it has PCI-X.. not a very commonly used item for enthusiasts. I know that it says workstation, but still its very wierd.

And I guess Intel/Asus has declared death to IDE.. If that is the case, where are my 16x dual layer SATA dvd burners...
