I leak tested it for about 10 hours.. noticed it was slightly wet around the waterblock, ugh i really should of gotten a storm. RMA time to Jab-tech.

edit:

seems to be okay now.. (tested for about 4 hours so far) removed the barbs and put them back on..

can you get a picture of where it was wet or at least mention where it was wet. may just be problem with o-ring.

I can't see anything at all. highlight the area or take a closer picture

get a nice socket wrench. remove the bard to check and make sure the o-ring isn't broken. hand tighten the barb then use the wrench for about a half turn, make it snug but not tight, enough to slightly compress the o-ring. then test it with some spare tubing outside the case and see if it helps

Would think about less stressful way to let pump NOT hang (longer tube from Block?)

yes that was the same one.. updating the post..

i removed the barbs and the o rings looked fine.. i'm gonna go ahead and return it and eat the restocking fees... just gonna buy a storm when they come back in stock.

just gonna buy a storm when they come back in stock.

Good luck with that.

Gabe is pretty intent on proving to the world that the apogee is better than the storm.

Doubt you'll see them back on the web anytime soon. Keep any eye on the FS/FT forums. You may find someone offloading their storm for a new block straight from cathar. (I know I'm going to when the G7 hits)

thread tape around the barbs then screw them back in, i had to do that with my storm twice before it would stop leaking.

NPSM shouldn't have teflon tape on it; NPT seals with teflon tape if the threads aren't great, but NPSM has the O-Ring. I reccomend not using teflon tape; crank down those barbs a bit more.
