OK guy swhat do you use and what do you prefer?

I have all these... use AOL the most now but still prefer ICQ over them all...

I use mostly, Yahoo then AIM

Then rarely ICQ

And when I get Trillian installed again, Will use MSN again as well. But only so I can talk to those that use that pathetic program.

I'm a big ICQ fan - i like being able to leave messages and send files. For those of you using all three, you may want to try Trillian, which incorporates them all in to one. I've never tried it, but i here it works pretty well.

Personally, i give family members and others i don't want to harass me with "tech support calls" on my AIM list, and my friends on ICQ - then i just never run AIM :D

ICQ actually, but not really for the prog itself, more for the people on it.
On MSN their are a lot of kiddies, changing nicks etc., just a whole other mentality...(offcourse with exceptions)
MSN is a bit 'easier' and nicer to work with...

Actually, I use Trillian which supports many of these simultaneously.

ICQ is preferred, YIM is next best...

I've only been using AIM for quite some time now. No one that I talk to anymore has ICQ so I don't even bother turning it on. I tried Trillian but didn't like it. It doesn't have all the functions of the programs. I have YIM too but only for video chatting with my girlfriend when I can't see her in person.

I don't really use any of them, Aim on a slight occasion when the other end prefers it. I tried Icq, but it drove me nuts. It's a serious resource hog. Took some real effort to get all of it back off too.:rolleyes:

Sounds like you've got a plan!;)

But seriously, AOL for the most part works just fine. The problem lies in the modem that you connect to.
There is an automatic timer that will kill your connection at differant variables.

But obvioulsy, it dosen't work well.
