Is it OK have copper and brass components in the same loop? Like how it is not okay to have aluminum and copper in the same loop...

yes it is fine, brass is about 70% copper and 30% zinc. No corrosion will occur.

plastic fittings would probbably be more ideal. if i had choice id go with plastic.

well im saying in raleigh where i was all they had was plastic, then i get back here and realize i need elbow joints, and all they have at this lowes is brass.

i skipped valves/quick disconnects. couldnt even find ones i wanted. it might be a pain taking it apart but that shouldnt happen more than twice a year.
