I have this chip picked out. Is it ok?

what would be a good PCI-E motherboard that uses DDR1 to go with this chip?

Link fixed

Link is dead. I dont think there are any PCI-E DDR1 mobos unless its the P4GD1 (Which isn't available in the US). I would recommend a P5WD2-Premium w/ a 6xx series chip.

isnt the whole 915 line PCI-E and DDR compatable?

I dont think any newer chipset than the 875P supports DDR1?

So I guess some cheap DDR2 would be required. How about this?

Dont get the Non-Premium, get the Premium or else you will be sorry (I made that mistake). If your getting a 640, lockfree really comes in handy (If you get PC5400 - 6400)
