Hi
I think the title is telling everything.
Are those two voltmods possible.
DDTUNG or anyone else please help ;)

morphling1,
If you can find a mosfet that reads something that would resemble a chipset voltage, I've already talked to DDTUNG about this. The problem is, I couldn't find a mosfet on that darn board that would be a chipset voltage. DDTUNG said it should be around 1.5v & this is all I could find:

As you can see, my camera is not the best at taking close-up pics :(
& of course there are 3 on the back of the PCB also, but they're all 5v as well.

Basically, we were trying to figure this out, but I think we hit a big snag when I couldn't find a mosfet that read anything that could be a chipset voltage. Perhaps you can verify my readings?

Hmm, looks like you checked everything, but (pardon my ignorance) why do you need to find mosfet with that particular voltage, aren't all volt mods made on some chips where you trick the voltage protection by shounting with resistor ?

i will pay a lot of attention to 3.270V.
find the data sheet of that mosfet to see if it's an adjustable volt regulator

Because the chip controlling the voltage will be very close to the mosfet :)

I did a 8k3a+ VAGP mod on www.aoaforums.com

Great, do I need to serch through forums, or did you write an article. You have any clue on how to raise chipset voltage?

Well heres the VAGP mod at least

I will try to find an chipset mod if anybody has done it..

call me crazy but I think the chipset feeds on 3.3v line

haven´t you guys ever noticed those nippon dudes and their thing for vio ?

haven´t you guys noticed their high FSBs or do you guys think it´s just a turbo PLL thinggy ? ;)

of course nforce is a diferent subject :)

I think that too, that's why I'm having some problem with Antec Trupower because it doesn't have pots and my 3.3+ line is 3.2V,and I would want it around 3.4V area

3.3v and 5v adjustable is of the essence ;)

im stuck at 3.29~30v

Before you do a VDD mod, upgrade the NB cooling. While it is overclocked a fair bit, touch the NB heatsink to see how hot it is. Mine got VERY hot. With the stock NB cooling i got AGP tearing after about 205FSB, but with an old 486 cpu cooler (actively cooler) i could get to 230FSB stable without any agp tearing at all.
