Tomorrow night the new king of 3D will be OPPAINTER acompanyed buy an Abit BD7II and a NW2.26 Intel chip with DDR memory running at 250. Stay tune to the 3D charts, heh heh.
I'm talking 16000 default. I can all most bet on it :D

I know I can too, I figuered it out today. My basic Mushkin 3000 is running at 230 as we speek, so all I need to do is run at 190 fsb and I'll run the memory at 250 and Wamo, 300 more points then I have already. Hopefully Frys will let me borrow a stick of Corsair 3200 Tomorrow :D

Well I got some Corsair 3200 and doesn't work worth a Crap, it can't even do 230 like the Mushkin 3000. Not going to pass Macci anytime soon, damm, I need some good memory.

Well no new memory today guys. I did do some overclocking though. Just 10 points away from the great Macci, dam I'm good:D

Jaws, those setting at 230 are as low as you can get 2.5, 363, but at 230 they are very powerful.

Hy!

Sorry for interrupting this happy moment, but i must show you guys my Sandra scores with RDR!!! :D

These were done with my "old" P4T-E, the one i sent to my friend Macci so that he could beat the 16k score!!!

http://pwp.netcabo.pt/raptor/sandramem.jpg

sorry about the size!!!

Now with the P4T533-C, it seems that the memory scores are even higher... but i have to go to work right now...

Maybe when i get the Prometeia, i might get some 3DMarks scores like yours OPP, the problem is where can i get a nice TI4600... still in TI4400 category (right after Sampsas LN2 experience!!!)

macci

Raptor, yeah your mobo kicks some butt! :D

So far I'm running slower (10/8) RDRAM timings but its still giving some 4250/4240 scores in sandra @200FSB - 3D performance is outstanding too ;)
The stupid BIOS disables the fast timings (9/7) when past 133fsb or so.

But this is what I got in Sandra2002 w/ my old TH7-2 running at 202FSB 3x RDRAM:
4340/4330 (http://www.solidhardware.com/macci/nw/3240MEM.GIF)
This is w/ fast RDRAM timings (9/7). THat board couldn't handle more than 191FSB for 3D though.

THe P4 mobo king? Id say its the ASUS P4T533C or IWill i850E board at this time. Asus seems to be a little bit faster than the IWill though (prolly cos it enables the faster timings for RDRAM?). Both of those boards require some serious modding (turbopll, Vcore and Vmem vmods) but once modded its the best board out there :)

But BD7-2 is faster than I expected it to be though! :D
That 90+FPS you got in Car Hi shows that its got a lot of "raw" performance! :)
DDR is getting closer to RDRAM all the time - right now the actual performance difference is next to nothing.

Raptor

Macci, what do you mean about (10/8) and (9/7) timings?

Nope but lets hope they will bring one out... the TH7-II would be awesome if it werent for the DRCG's and the poor CPU overclocking. I'm sure Abit should be able to sort that out...

I have some Crucial PC2100 on my BD7/1.6A combo, and my memory is currently holding me back. It doesn't seem to like to go over 183FSB with 2.7V:p. If anyone has any idea on how to mod this mobo, please help us. I think many of us in the overclockers' community would love to find out how to get some more voltage with this mobo. If anyone needs a pic of what might be the vmem controller, here is the thread: http://discuss.madonion.com/forum/showthreaded.pl?Cat=&Board=techmobocpu&Number=869292&Search=true&Forum=All_Forums&Words=QuadDamage&Match=Username&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=allposts&Main=853628

#1 have you tried booting lower fsb with agressive timings ,then increasing fsb with cpufsb?

that is a little trick i used on 8kha+ as epox suckx a lot in bios and force a lot of slow settings ....

#2 I think theres a new p4t533 coming out that goes 200+ fsb ;)

I believe The highest I ran 3D as far as memory was 226. I really didn't test much when I couldn't get higher then 232:D
My 100% stable FSB was at 189, my chip was pushing it after that.

#1 yeah Ive tried that once but that time I was unlucky and the POS just locked up while upping the FSB w/ CPUCOOL. Guess I should maybbe try it again someday :) Or then I'll just flash the P4T533C bios as it may solve this little problem.
There is only one reg. that is different when in slow memtimings mode but I can't set it back to normal w/ WPCREDIT cos it locks up.

#2 I think I've already got an ASUS that not only goes to 200 but also does over 200FSB :D
But Its about time for them to release a board that can overclock without mods though.

dmitriyaz,

Welcome to Xtreme:)

Personally I couldn't tell you if its the best, I can tell you it's a very stable and highly overclockable mobo.
I'll be testing a IT7 soon and see how it compares. One thing that the BD7II lacks is mem voltage. The IT7 is suppose to have more so you can take advantage of the 3:4 FSB/MEM ratio.

thanks OPP, :)
do you know if IT7 has the "fixed dividers" option like BD7II?
and doesn't IT7 have less Vcore adjustments?
in any way, could you tell me when you'll get done testing it, so that i can check back with you...?
thanks again,

Pic made of voltage settings on my it-7 with 2266 running on 2.8 gig, fsb 165, 3:4 ( wich btw gives me only 13580 3dmark scores, on fsb 175, 1:1 gives me 14050, so i 'don't understand why this 3:4 would be better, it limits my fsb to 165?? )

dram set to max 3.2v

Does anybody found something about doing a vmod on this it-7?

Only problem I am having is the temps @ 1.85 are like 10c higher then the 1.6a @ 1.85v. I reseated the volcano 7+ several times. I really dislike this cooler, $45 for cheap POS.
