processor bandwidth

Hi,
I have a question thats kinda dumb, 400MHz DDR RAM has a bandwidth of 3.2GBps, does this mean a 400mhz proc can do 3.2gbps of calculations per second but is limited by speed of fsb?

yes, i believe so.

i know your processor can't use all 3.2GB/s of bandwidth. i'm just not sure if a 400MHz fsb processor could do 3.2GB/s woth of calculations.
