So I finished my WC set up which consists of:
Black Ice xtreme 2
2 Sunon KD1212PTB1-6A
DD TDX
DD Maze 4 GPU
Laing D4 pump
Clearflex 1/2" ID tubing
T-Line
DD Fillport

So I'm pretty happy with it but I want bigger, faster, cooler! So my question is;
What should be the component to upgrade that would make the biggest difference in overall temps?

Um peltier? Honestly you got a nice setup there, you wont see much results from here on. Mess with air flow and water flow and possibly a remount/cleaning, All of that will get you more than changing a part and it is free.

Yeah i you do have a pretty good setup there. Changing parts like the tdx for a storm and a bigger radiator won't drop temps enough to justify spending more money. IMO

what about adding two more 120mm fans to have a push/pull config on the radiator?

Those Sunons are not the best fans in the world. I prefer 38mm depth fans for the extreme series of rads, because of rad thickness and fin density.

A cheap way to quiet your system and improve performance would be to pic up 2, or 4 if going push pull, Pabst 38mm depth fans. I got 4 of them off Ebay for $6 bucks each...

Temps are 28-30 idle, 36-38 load. That's with an E6 Venice 3200+ @ 2.7ghz 1.6vcore

BTW, which pabts fans are you talking about?

I switched to WC cuz my 3 Tornado fans were driving me NUCKING FUTS! And that's with a fan controller. I'd like to stay below 40DBA per fan.

Papst 4212m 120x38. 75cfm with good static pressure. They do not have rpm sensor wire.

So basically my radiator would work better overall with a 38mm depth fan?

Also I'm sorta dissapointed with this CPU. I thought I would pickup some MHZ by switching to WC but there seems to be a wall at 2700mhz for total stability. If I cross over to 2720, BF2 crashes in 30 minutes and so does everyother game, no matter what voltage.

I shoulda kept my LBBLE 0515 FPAW :( Had to sell cuz of finances awhile ago and pickud up this one for cheap. I thought E6 were gonna be better than the E3's for some reason but I shoulda known that apparently AMD revisions get worse in OC with each passing revision.

At least my BFG 7800gtx responded fairly well and is now sitting pretty at 526 core. :)

i'd say your best bet is switching to a Storm and you'd better get one fast because swiftech is ending production.

Tibu you only get 526 outta that 7800gtx on water? I got 540 + 40 delta out of mine on the stock cooler lol. And of course with water there is no comparison, check sig.
