Issue with Firefox 1.5 screen size. Please Help.

ok i recently reinstalled windows xp. I then loaded firefox 1.5. i cannot get it to open in the size window i want. what do i have to do to get it to open in the size and area that i want. no matter where i resize it and position it it always opens back up the way it looks in the picture. please help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it does the same thing.

I used to get that problem all the time with IE. It would never open up right. I would always resize it. Then once in a while it would work. I would just say open Firefox. Resize it. Then close it. It works for me sometimes.

alright, here's what you need to do.

Open FF.
Manually drag each edge of teh FF window to the edges of the display.
Hit the maximize window button at the top right.
Hit the Maximize button again.
Minimize the window.
Bring it back on the screen by clicking it in the taskbar.
Close FF.
Open it again and it should be full size, and stay full size.

That does not change anything. I tried it 4 times and it changes nothing. Thanks for the suggestion though.
