Hi Blade1,

It depends on what you want to do with it.....it will not OC real high, but for general everyday use...its fine stuff :)

And then of course you might find a pair that does exceedingly well...they chips can be Samsung (TCCx), winbond, or Aeneon.

Well now there is a tough question....

Overclocking with 1GB or 2?
What timings? - tight timings will require IC's that like in excess of 3.2V
How high would you like to get? - High FSB ram won't run really tight timings

Was going to get 1GB of ram and would like to run timings at 6222 or even 5222.
Running my mem at 2.75v which is recomended.
I have my 3200 venice clocked at a 2700mhz, which is 300x9.
I also play games like Q4 and call of duty2.

Ok...well you can't get 300 at 2-2-2 timings

You might get 270 x 10 with 2.5-3-3-8 timings (CAS-Trcd-Trp-Tras)

Do you want to run 1:1 or a divider so the ram speed is lower than the FSB?

300 1:1 at 2-2-2 timings with 1GB of ram is not possible, especially with only 2.75V

Im running my mem at 6222..2.75v....HT frequency 4x at 266DDR=179mhz
Which is under the recomended 200mhz, but to get to a overclock of 300x9 i had to drop to 266DDR From 3200DDR.
