Anybody using an xbox360 controller on windows xp sp2/X64?

mine doesnt center properly, although when looking at the controller it looks fine, in all xbox games it performs fine, but in windows, both analog sticks are off center by just a bit, and it messes up EVERY GAME

Ive tried the controller on 4 different PCs, and tried my friends controller, same deal! is it just bad software? or is there something wrong with the way the xbox 360 controllers work in windows? I even read a review of the controller, that said it wasnt centered, but after a reinstall it worked...well 50 reinstalls later im still off center!

eh, its Microsoft. this was to be expected. give them a few montsh to release a patch and I'm sure all will be well in overpriced land again.

You will probably have to wait until Microsoft updates the drivers to fix that problem.

Or hack an old Xbox controller into a PC controller, :)

Mine works flawlessly with Windows. Are you using the Microsoft drivers?
