I thought X1800 has the same tooling holes as 7800. But was I wrong  The ATI holes position is about 3 mm off than 7800. Now I got a x1800xt sitting around becasue can't fit my WC system

Does anybody know which block fits x1800?

this might sound stupid but did you use the "nvidia holes" or "ati holes" on the block?:p

no I checked.

Maze4 doesn't fit, but Acetal Maze4 fits

Man I knew I should have bought Acetal back then

if you're careful you can drill holes for it. just make sure the diameter of the bit is a bit small so you can thread the holes.

I would do this. Guys at DD are cool. I am sure they will hook you up. ;)

BTW Don't make the same mistake...buy a low profile one/top. That way if you ever want to run dual card you can. (There is no performance difference just a little tighter to install ramsinks.)

Yeah DD failed to tell me I would need a different backing plate for my new x1800 xt when I told them that I had an x800 XL at the time. So I get my x1800xt today and its on air...........poor Maze 4 is just sitting there lol. Had to order my plate too :( Coulda done it well in advanced and been prepared.

x1800XT uses 6800/7800 Mounting hardware actually.

Go to DangerDen.com and look. I am thinking of ordering everything and getting back into Water Cooling alittle.
