Windows Media Player 10 won't install

Alright, the install gets to about 15% and the cpu usage rockets up to 100% and will stay at 15%, I let it run for around 20 minutes once.

I have tried redownloading it and such, any ideas?

Athlon 64 2800+
1 gb ram
