What about the Escalade (http://www.siliconmechanics.com/escalade-8500.php) or the Highpoint (http://www.highpoint-tech.com/sata.htm) or the Promise (http://www.promise.com/product/product_detail_eng.asp?productId=98&familyId=3) serial raid controller coupled with this Seagate (http://amdmb.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=647121/ut=423d12819d3360ae) 80GB Serial ATA V Drive?

I can't say if it is the best but I have had good luck with the Highpoint raid cards. I use the Highpoint RocketRaid 133 in my 8RDA+ at 220fsb an did not have a problem with it.

the PCI bus on Nforce2 boards is locked at 33MHz. so no matter what FSB you run at, you won't need to worry about running your PCI devices out of spec.

that being said, i like the new HighPoint SATA RAID cards.
