I'm having trouble finding the SATA RAID floppy drivers for the VNF4 Ultra. It didn't come with the motherboard and its not on chaintechs website, or Nvidia's. I just spent the past 30min googling but cant seem to find anything. WHERE ARE MY DRIVERS!!! This pos mobo is starting to piss me off

Download NetBSD.. if you can't get it to run with it.. Then it's a hardware failure not wrong drivers

In that case go to http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/driver/dvr/spt_dvr_detail.php?UID=637&kind=1 and get the NV RAID drivers.. They will work...

i think you just extract the NF4 drivers and then find the \IDE\WinXP folder and copy all those files to a floppy (not the raidtool folder)

or maybe i'm getting mixed up with NF3... it's been a while lol

Well, I loaded the drivers that I found at msi and windows still sees the RAID 1 Array as two separate disks...im done for the night...too much stress.

YGPM...

I think I got the right drivers, but I'm not sure b/c I loaded the ones from MSI and microsoft still saw the two drives as separate. I'm gonna fool around more with the RAID setup and such....

I just sent you an email with the DFI NF4 RAID disk :)

I'm sure they work because I have sent them to a friend and he used them on an ASUS motherboard without any problems.

OK...im starting to figure some things out. Either the CD-ROM isnt detected under certain options or the RAID 1 Array isnt. I'm trying to get it to a point where the BIOS detects both the RAID array and the CD-ROM. I think I have it now and windows setup is loading...ill let you all know in a few minutes.

This computer has been nothing but trouble :(.

Edit: Yea ok I got it...thanks for all the help...now to solve the power supply problem...
