any other suggestions for 2x512mb?
I'm not really sure what is good anymore, these will be used on an MSI K8N Neo2

if you really need that speed out of your ram, out of those 2 buy the kit thats gaurenteed to do it

Yea, I'd go with what IYP said. You could always use a divider and get some low-latency ram.

If you must have the speed, make sure to get the one that is gaurenteed

I guess that one is guaranteed to do 300Mhz. Anyone have anything bad to say about it?

Do they get that hot... or is it just in case...?

Can't you get it stable with less voltage?

so are the TCCD chips still some of the best stuff out there? or is there something better I should be looking at for a 2x512 configuration.

Oh, I thought we were on 300Mhz, lol.

Do you remember how many volts you needed for 300Mhz?

PS: Thanks for all the info!

I think it was 2.75v ... I haven't used that speed for quite a while so I am not sure.
