Hello,
I wan't to perform a burn in to my memory and cpu, and I wanted to ask- how should I configure my cpu/mem before the process? should I put them on their limit htt and voltage or lower them to their stock level?
How long should I run the burn in?
I have 3000+ venice, Twinmos BH5 memory sticks with a DFI ultra-D board.
Thanks a lot!

For your CPU Use the highest possible overclock you can get on relatively low volts. (~1.4V)

For your RAM burn them it at high voltages. Ie. ~240MHz 2-2-2-5 @ 3.2V and then keep increasing the volts from there. For RAM burn in use MemTest.

EDIT: Burn in using Test #5 or #8 on loop. :)

For RAM burn-in follow 5days' recommendations. :)

I have read some pretty compelling articles on why burning in is a myth. Electronically, it has no real basis in fact.

If anything, running the CPU for a couple days will help cure the AS5 or whatever thermal paste you are using, which will aid in cooling, and that is the most likely reason for a better overclock after a few days.

Some electrical engineers did a pretty exhaustive study on this and came up with no real evidence to support the notion that burning in a CPU gives you a higher overclock.
