Yep he is a member at OCF and personally I have a hard time believeing he has any idea wha he is doing based on some of the stuff he has said/shown.

Also The only way I think that score he has is achieveable is if your a stupid tweaker that completly ruined your install by tweaking and ran 03.

that copper tube from the VC just bends around and is pointed at the chipset heatsink, it`s not even attached to it, but it`s suppost to have Liquid nitrogen running through it???

After watching the video, they ran LN2 though it and you get the copper lines and blocks even though they dont show the GPU block.

Remove the 8.wmv and you can directory browse.

I should check that email to our database for a hit.

I dont really understand all the confusion here.
LN2 enters the expansion chamber strapped to the CPU.
LN2 > N2 very cold (gas) at lower pressure (in expansion)
Cold N2 progresses through the circuit to the graphics card where it blows over the the fan intake, and is also fed further on to the Chipset HS

First it takes 10 freaking minutes for ln2 to boil if i remember correctly. O and plastic becomes fragile below freezing.

How can a fan run with -30C or higher temps on it. It wouldn't the bearings would seize up and also the fan would splinter because of the force on it.

it looks like a very dangerous, and poorly thought out idea, that could be rather dangerous in alot of circumstances... the persons website, is also a joke... the guys just making crap up from the sound of it.

Yeah...this is interesting...

I can't believe that there are such...
Morons.

Look at his Ebay page-
"I am a known overclocker..."

Ad_Rock- Keep up the good work...why don't you just expose him? As in link to the other stuff he is doing?

I can't believe this guy, attempting to sell utter crap for good money.

Why you all going so hardcore on Leo?

I'm pretty sure this guy isn't faking it.

That video shows a video card of something like a 9X00 with one of those cheapass coolers.

Back in Febuary he had a few posts on OC.net with pictures of that setup with pictures that same video card.

I mean, honestly- $750?

And it also brings up the question- is it legit?

He is trying to sell his LN2 evap tubes on OCF right now. I am trying my best to make sure to ask enough questions that he wont be able to answer properly so that no one will actually buy that crap.

I like the bit where he says

"-CPU: -181 under Battlefield 2 Special Forces 128 Bots"

I can just imagine the scenario - he gets all his team mates killed because at that moment the LN2 tube needs topping up .

I'm also fond of his way of attaching the tube to the cpu

"Mounting method:

a. If you have a AMD chip or a plastic socket Intel socket (487 pin) then you could wedge the sides of the square bottom under the already attached black plastic heatsink holder.

b. If you have an intel chip other then those, I guess be creative.
I used duck tape in a cross pattern from on side of the mobo to the other. The duck tape didn't hurt my temps much (as you can see above) but I am building a spring based kit to fit the most common intel chip."

Duct tape ! No stealing his ideas Vince and Charles ;)

There's some really mad ( but mostly harmless ) people out there ...

Andy

Well I managed to get the thread at OCF locked now, he has to actually post some screen shots with it running and some pictures of it mounted while running before he will be allowed to try and sell it.

Thrilla
12-25-2005, 09:13 PM
LoL I'm still thinking how that works. LN2 can be poured onto the CPU, then when it boils, it becomes a gas, then it should go back from where it came from... unless he has a way to feed LN2 through a one way valve, then get the gas to go some where else, lol i'm puzzled.

Anyways, LN2 could be used to cool both CPU and GFX and NB at the same time, and I'm working on it :P

I don't believe it will work. You would need some cyro gear that could cost up in the 100,000s

My design will be a reservoir, then 2 evap heads, should work.
btw, live2game, off topic, what's that in your sig?
