What kind of resister would I want for this? I just want to use a fixed resister to do this, how many ohms and I looknig at? My bios says my VDD is running around 1.58-1.6.

what fsb can u get with it?

actually you would want to ask "what voltage increase you get by doing that". You don't want to overvolt the Vdd too much... or the board would go... poo poo... wait for others to reply cauze I don't have an answer to that. Sorry im not being very helpful.

230FSB (2.5-3-3-7) before the screen flashing+3-mouse-pointer problem comes back again.

wow, and ur only pumping 1.7 in it? I guess these people doing 1.8+ are kind over exagerating. The abit board lets u put it at 1.7 so I feel safe with that. Must I use a 1/4W resistor or 1/2W?

eliteone, you can use either 1/4 or 1/2 or 1 watt.

The vr-zone artical will give you a start.
http://www.vr-zone.com/guides/EPoX/8RDA+/

..set the initial resistance measured by the voltmeter to be 700ohm.

..the VDD voltage increases from 1.55V to 1.70V.

I was running 1.59-1.6 and a 1k fixed resistor gave me 1.78-1.79

Not really. I needed to jack up the volts to 1.85 to get 220FSB to run 3DMark properly, 1.80 was not enough.

It varies wildly, I'm doing 1.88vdd and I can only do 200 dual ddr, although I think my ram is holding me back.
