Wireless Headsets, are they good sound quality wise?

Idealy I am looking for a very nice wireless sound isolating headset with a mic. One thing I want to stay away from is the USB connection because you cant hot swap between speakers and headset with that, the game or audio program ususally wont recognise the switch unless you restart it, and thats a huge inconvinience.

I dont know if thats possible while retaining good sound quality but can you guys educate me a little.

thanks :)

they are available but they are overpriced and suck if you ask me.. I find the difference in sound quality noticable...
word of advise stay wired, cheaper and sounds better...

evey once in a while when you listen to people on a mic it sounds almost as if they are in a large room, sounds to me like they ar using a table mic. Does a table mic sound different then a head set mic, it seems to me they really do *shrug

It all depends on how good of a listener you are and if you think that all microphones should have a rare earth pedigree..
I am soo picky about my music and headsets that I can't buy retail much anymore..

A Praetora 380 headphones; Costs $275
and a simple logitech microphone;$15

but a an Audio-Technica headset should work fine for you..

are you sure? less than 0.004 Percent off all people can tell the difference between a 109DBa noise ratio and 150Dba noise ratio..

To be honest I cant say one way or the other. I do however notice a difference is nice and not so nice and very very nice headsets when I use them. I dont know if I can tell the difference between 109DBa noise ratio and 150Dba noise ratio but I dont mind paying extra for the insurance that I will be happy. After all its just money and but a fraction on what we, or I anyway spend on my computer as an enthusiast. Taking in to consideration that I spend neary 95% of all my free time on the computer, which amounts to alot depending on weather I am working or not or going to classes or not, in which case I dont cut corners. If you spend that much time using a product you might as well invest in a nice peace of equipment that will give you peace of mind even if it is a little overkill. Atleast you wont be wondering what a better headset will sound like because you have it :)
