I have an older ATI graphics card and I would like to tweak it a little :) The card is ATI Rage PRO AGP 2x. Firstly I had some trouble with finding the suitable drivers for that card and for my operating system (Windows XP Home SP2). Finally I found those:

They work fine, but now I can't fint the suitable program (or program version) for changing the core and memory clock. I have tried two different (but both were rather new) versions of RivaTuner and ATI Tool. Both brograms did'nt support my drivers :(

Is there any program at the "market", which supports older cards and older drivers ? Or any other suggestions?

Look here the 6th part (http://www.octech.gr/forum/viewtopic.php?t=378&start=15) hope to find what you need. :)

you have done a great job collecting a lot of different OC tools together :toast:
I had'nt tried two programs of your list before- the Rage 3D and RadLinker. The Rage 3D said during the installation, that the video card was not supported

However, the RadLinker seems to be most promising. I can set core- and memoryclock values, but how can I boot with the new values (the program alwayse resets the values that I have given)? Another wierd thing is, that I can set values up to 1000 MHz and more, but no artifacts are occured. That means that clock settings are not saved and activated. How can I save the clock settings ? If I click the SET button:
http://img348.imageshack.us/img348/637/radlinkerclockchange6ba.th.jpg (http://img348.imageshack.us/my.php?image=radlinkerclockchange6ba.jpg)
If I click USE CURRENT:
http://img348.imageshack.us/img348/637/radlinkerclockchange6ba.th.jpg (http://img348.imageshack.us/my.php?image=radlinkerclockchange6ba.jpg)
If I click the BIOS DEFAULTS button, then nothing happens- no restart

Can somebody help or suggest another program or drivers which are supported by my Windows XP, graphics card (ATI Rage PRO Turbo) and some kind of VGA OC program?

For old cards RadLinker works fine. I'd suggest PowerStrip too.

Do you know if the PLL on your card is programmable or locked in at set frequencies? Or does it even have one?

I don't know...for me the RadLinker isn't working  However, I tried the PowerStrip and it is seems to be working :) After the installation and rebooting I started the PowerStrip and I saw my cards GPU/memory clocks and they seemed to be logical: 75/100 MHz.

http://img319.imageshack.us/img319/9461/powerstripdefault5up.th.jpg (http://img319.imageshack.us/my.php?image=powerstripdefault5up.jpg)

Then I started to raise those settings: 100/117 ( 100 MHz is the peak for the GPU clock that program allows and for memory the 117 seems to be maximum, because if I push it further, the memory clock jumps to 60 MHz  ). I click the Apply and reboot and start the PowerStrip- settings are 100/117 :woot:

So it seems to be working, but could somebody explain those questions with the clock settings ?

And one more problem: to be sure and test the progress after overclocking, I downloaded the 3Dmakr2001 and tried to run it. For some reason, the 3Dmark2001 seems to have problems to communicate with my card. Have a look at that error:

I tried the both- with overclocking the card and with default clocks. The result is the same :(

What is the PLL ? It is not that (http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/P/PLL.html), is it ?:) If it is, then could you please put it into a simple words ? And is there any way I can see it visually on my card or do I have to look it up from the manual ?
