KIT #2

Swiftech MCX5000A (Amd) $96
Swiftech MCW50 $63
Black Ice Mobo Chipset 1/2" Waterblock $64
10 Feet of Tygon 1/2" $49.95
Via Aqua Pump built in 1/2" Resevoir: $104.95
Black Ice Extreme $109.95 (in black or blue for same price)
Purple Ice $7.95
TOTAL $495.90

For both of these kit's i'm going to be using green UV water dye in the water and 2x120mm Blue 4 led fans. One thing i'm wondering is how good are the Via Aqua 1300 water pumps, and would it be good to have a built in res?

PLEASE NOTE ALL PRICES ARE CANADAIN!

I voted for the Swiftech kit because I like their block design better. From what I hear the Via Aqua pumps are very good, and I would certainly get a res; it makes bleeding the system a lot easier.

Now let's talk about this Black Ice Extreme you're getting....$110?!? Wow!

I called Canadian Tire and they sell the Chevette heater core for under $50. It should fit in your case and looks pretty beefy. Just a suggestion.

Also I'm curious where you're buying these blocks in Canada, can you send me the link?

Sorry i accidentely voted for kit 1 instead of 2 =( So swifty it is

The via is a great pump. Very strong and quiet and cheap. I would not use a res as its a waste of space and usually gets placed in akward positions and ultimately just slows down the flow rate.

the aqua pump is built in the res :). The pricing comes from these 2 places. Kit 1...http://www.criticool.com/index.html, and kit 2...http://216.40.225.118/shop/?page=shop/index&ps_session=20ed2e964d1ad504e61fd56dd379bb02. Sean at criticool is great and that's why i'm leaning towards that kit, but I might get the via pump with built in res instead of the ehiem and an additional pump to save space. besides the UV dye in the res will make it look good and hide the pump.

:) I am building a 12v system and went with the MCW 5000A. Swiftech says that it is their best one and some reports say that they are not fooling.
