1. What kind of temps should I expect to see for the cpu core?
2. I have read that many people have the cold bug problem. I have an Opteron 146 CABYE FPBW will i have a problem running dry ice? I have heard many not being able to go below -5C.
3. Some say it limits the speed to 250mhz for the ram some say it wont boot what are the actual effects?
4. Will the cold bug problem be fixed in the latest DFI Sli Expert boards?
5. Are there any ways to fix the cold bug problem?

Sorry if this is repedative i have searched the forums and all the threads that come up are like 100 pages long and i just dont have the time to sit here and read it all day. Thank you for your help in advance.

1) -40C give or take 5C in BIOS
2) You cant determine that until you try the chip
3) RAM speed limits are a minor effect of cold bug, non boot is a more extreme effect. My CPU could boot fine, and clock RAM fine but HTT was limited to 280 because of cold. The effects vary.
4) Extra drive strength settings should help, but I doubt it will fix it.
5) If cold bug is effecting max HTT or RAM clocks then yes. You can run prime at low priority in the background to heat up the CPU, however this is not idea for benching. You can also add more acetone for higher temps.
