Ok, just to get some ideas.. what are some good quality speaker sets for under $200.. here is what i need:
- 4.1 or 5.1
- Gets loud but still sounds good without distorning
- Quality, won't break from loud listening constantly

I was looking at the 4.1 .. 400watt Logitech speakers.. they have everything i want.. i have just heard allot of stories of the amps blowing if you listen to the speakers loud. Well hope i get some feedback.

klipsh or creative are both good for the money

try and find an ADA set from altec lansing on ebay - 880 or 890 model and you will be happy.

Yup, Logitech 4.1 Z-560's. From all my reasearch they seem the best :). Not quite as good sound quality as the Klipsch 4.1's, but a lot cheaper. Loud, plenty of bass... can't really go wrong with them for the price.

i'd go with the klipsch 4.1s.

Klipsch 4.1's are the best for under 200, logitech isn't bad either though
