Hi, just wondering if someone can tell me what model the chip controller is? It should be a 'Carel IR32xxxxxx', I can get some models at "reasonable" price, but was curious to know which model as it determines the type of probe/ thermocouple used.

Thanks

Nico :)

Come on? somebody must be able to help me :( . If it doesn't have a label I'll give you some clues,

1/ probe type can be determined by (or at least narrowed down by) seeing if there is a connection to terminal 8 (bottom row, second in from the right). No wire connected means it's a J/ K type thermocouple, wire connected means it's NTC/ PT100.

2/ how many outputs does it have? I know it uses three according to the Prometeia manual, which means its probably got a 4th going unused. The should be 18 terminals all up 9 on the top and 9 on the bottom. If i'm right there will no connections on terminals 16,17 & 18 (top row first three from the right). This means you could drive another fan etc, relative to one of the set points or en / disen points.
