If you hit any major bookstore, you can find software that will teach you the basics of almost any language. You can find reviews online for almost all of it.

Altavista babelFish translator (http://world.altavista.com/) may also help you - but it is good only for single word translation - with text it makes some mistakes.

thanks guys I am Russian also.I ended up finding a program at compusa only $9.99 so far its relly good and I learned like 30 words.Anyone know of any guide that teach you how to write in Cyrillic?

That`s interesting. You`re russian and can`t speak/write russian ? :D
