Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D to be exact.... I am just wondering if it will cut the speed by any amount? is it ok for a 33% 24/7 oc on cpu? My single raptor seems to be the bottleneck in my system right now... i've got A 3800+ x2 @ 2.65GHZ AND A GTX @ 510/1360... Simply want to load into games faster... and have money to burn.

the onboard controller is ok, i have 2 74gig raptors in raid 0 and its fine.

if you think your raptors are slow, dont buy another one for raid 0 as it wouldnt offer much of a performance gain. Instead, sell your raptor, get a good scsi controller card and get a couple of 73gig 15,000rpm SCSI drives.

The heat and noise from a SCSI setup is not worth it IMO but your opinion may vary. If you are looking to add another Raptor and setup RAID 0 the onboard controller should do nicely.

not THAT much money to burn...

Anyway thanks guuys, will have a dual raptor setup in a few days.
