I just ordered a Epox 8RDA+ but I have a Highpoint 372 raid controller on the current mobo which i'm pulling out with a RAID0 array of two 80gb Maxtor u133's, I see the silicon image u133 raid controllers are cheap, are they fast?
The Promise & Highpoint PCI offerings are too expensive

Performance is decent, but you get what you pay for.

Don't bother. Aint worth the heartache. You can still find the older ata100 HPT's new for less then 40 bucks. They are worth the differance. Every penny.
