only 2 difference : XE for dual CPU and speciality M/Bs and asl for high-end graphic systems meaning in spec.: drive Connectors: 13 (4 SATA) for XE and 12 (6 SATA) for asl

the xe doesnt have any 6 pin and the asl it does so im going to buy the asl

anyone knows if i can plug the 8 pin in the 4 one?
