After this bench I want to try higher, but I think there is not enough juice going to the mem.

Now I think the chip is this one:

ICS 93718CF

Can anyone help me with this mod? Is it the right chip? There is also an Attansic ATXP1 on there, but I don't think that is the right one..

MrIcee told me the chip with the arrow is not it btw.. Maybe on the left side next to the dimm slot?

Just to you guys to see, 8K9A is totally diferent of 8K9A2 series

here's a shot of the dimm's area:

8k9a has half of the chips of the 8k9a2, even the vcore chip is diferent!

on the other side, maybe it will be easier to found out the vdimm mod on 8k9a

i think i need some help... VIN seems to only give the voltage, not regulate, what if i connect VOUT to ground? what resistor? :rolleyes:

9173 isnt the right chip (its the VBT) isnt there anything below the Dimm clips near the NB ?

I sold the board guys.. :D 8K9A2+ is a different board indeed.
