View Full Version : PCP&C 510 SLi 12v and 3v rail problems

i Bought this PCP&C thinking that i will be free of supply problems for at least 4 yers, but when it arrive and i set it up, the 12v and 3v rails are under the normal rates, heres a shot.

How can i solve this !? But the ajustable pots !?

At least the rails are VERY stable

Don't bother with SmartGuardian or MBM5 they are crap. The only way to find out the true voltages is to use a DM (Digital Multimeter)

You can probably tweak the pots inside to raise the rails a little higher. Even if you measure the rails with a MM through the molexes. The mobo will always have 0.10V-0.15V lower due to internal resistance/heat/poor connections to the mb etc....The thing is that the mb sensor could be measuring it from somewhere that you don't know bout to measure to. But you can try probing the 12V input choke on the mb via MM and see if Smartguardian is reading the same. If it doesn't, then best bet is to forget bout using that program and know if someone here knows where to probe the 5V/3.3V reading correctly from the mb.
