Are there any problems with them, as my dvd drive stopped working after plugging in a floppy drive - with a power splitter. And my HDD caught on fire when using the adapter for the power.

All the splitters came with my fully modular Hiper type R 580w PSU.

Thanks, Trif.

Is there anything wrong with power splitters?

From what I can see know, after thinking about it, is that the dvd drive was dying before my upgrade. And there may of been a power surge(?) or got damaged when I was transporting it(?)
