hehe.. those guys weren't too sure why topped out at 1.85v.. that's because of the chip. Morgan Palo Duron, Palo XP, and Tbred XP chips determine the max Vcore that can be used. ( of course.. stage two would be mobo volt mod )

there's is an alternative solution for 1.85v Vcore mod. L11 bridges being all closed will max out to 1.85v and will show in bios 1.85v default. Will have to turn down the value in the BIOS and save n exit.. that is if you don't want to use 1.85v..

eheh..

I thought that just brought it up to 1.75?

The palominos it would bring to 1.85 because they started at 1.75, but the T-Breds would go to 1.75.. cause they start 1.5 to 1.65..?

yes.... i know what you mean. :)

All those chips, including Thoroughbred XPs are maxed out at 1.85v due to way their bridges for Vcores are arranged. Even though their standard factory default vcores are lower than the regular XPs and [M]Durons, thoroughbreds still get to 1.85v max. Attempting for such mod(both yours and mine) they all max out at 1.85v, that's what I meant. :) You can do the same thing with the L11 method. Bridging it accordingly to get the 1.75v as a default also...

of course.. don't get me wrong. The source you've brought is good too. We should respect that..
