Hi guys, I just arrived from buying DICE. I didnĀ“t have much money so I had to make a long trip to a quemical factory where is cheaper. So how much do you pay for DICE and or LN2 when you bench?

This are the prices of my dealers:

U$4.95 a kg. at a factory 20kms from home.
U$6.34/kg at a depot 10kms from home
U$7.7/kg home delivery :)

Free. I get small styrofoam boxes of it whenever my mom goes to work. So everyday ive got a new box. Anyone got a good way to preserve the dice?

Just went all over the place trying to find some today. The first place was $2 a pound for <10 pounds and then $1.75 for >11 pounds (I'm sure it scaled further). They did not have any in stock however.

So i drove to another of their branches that had it in stock, and they said I had to be 18 :( and they are closed on the weekends when my parents could come in.

I called 9 Baskin Robbins (ice cream) to find an english speaking person, who said that they don't typically sell it, however, he would be picking some up this week and selling sort of under the counter.

I called 2 Coldstone Creamery's (ice cream) that said they don't sell it, one referred me to Safeway.

I called up 2 safeway's (grocery store) that said they don't sell it, and that no Safeway sells it.

I called up 6 Giant Food's (grocery store) that said they don't sell it.

ROAR!!!!!!!!

There is one final place, but the 2 numbers listed online do not work and I am far too lazy to get the phonebook.

Looks like I will have to hold out 'til Monday for the original place to get some back in stock.

Wow thatĀ“s great :toast: , here in Chile is impossible to buy DICE on Saturdays, so when IĀ“m benching on weekends I buy it late at Fridays and preserve it this way:

Styrofoam box in a Coleman cooler, then duct tape to seal it. Lots, lots of newspaper in between the ice and too fill the space between both boxes. I buy it in blocks not chipped, it seems this way it preservers better.

Don't make it 100% air tight. air tight = boom.

I pay $1 per 1lb at both the grocery store near me (genardies or something) and the ice man 20 minutes away.

Wow. I'm getting into the Dry Ice thing but I don't know a lot about it. Like, I don't even know where they sell it around it (theres probably a bunch of places I don't know about). But, when used in overclocking, how long does it last?

Dry Ice 22lbs / 10kg (including the styrox shipping box) = 24$
LN2 5.3 gallons / 20 liters = 144$

It can be much cheaper if you get a good deal ;)
I should be able to get my 100L LN2 container filled for less than 250ā‚¬.
Unfortunately I canĀ“t get the container fitted inside my car

This is in Finland.
