What can i use for purging. I know most of you use nitrogen but i cant find a regulator for it. Does anyone of u have one and willing to sell me. Pls PM me. If not any other alternatives for me :( .

Where are you located at? Chilly1 typically gets parts/tools cheap so you might want to ask him. You can go to any local welding & gas shop and get one there too. Price of single should be around $75-100. (PS you will have to buy nitrogen tank too... or rent it... so prepare to spend a little more than you thought...)

i was thinking of co2 too but the problem is not with the gas it's with the regulator. i cant find a suitable one to use with the tank :) .

they use the same as nitrogen,a adapter is usually required for the thread.

if you can get the thread sizes of the stem in teh regulator I bet you can get a new stem for it that fits a nitrogen bottle.

You can have an adaptor made up at a torch repair (sales) store. I have my adaptors made up at a local shop that sells and repair welding, brazing torches. The adaptors have been costing around $15.00.
