Quick poll....how often (approximately) is MBM with reporting your clockspeed on the DFI NF4 series? Within a few MHz though....doesn't have to be exact.

I've been using it for a few days now and have rebooted 4 times with it...only once has it been within 50MHz. :stick:

heh, i dont even pay attention to the clockspeed in mbm....thats why i have cpuz...checking mine now it seems to be off by 2.6mhz...no big deal

Right now it says my X2 is running at 3.29GHz

Last boot it said 1.68GHz.....I could keep going back, only the first time was even close to being right. I double check with CPU-Z, CG and Windows, I always get freaked out when I see a different number (I should be used to it by now I guess, LOL).

MBM5 is a discontinued utility and therefore we will continue to see more and more errors and nonsense.

LOL, I know--I just find it interesting that no one else has pointed this out.

Software is software, and it's never better than the mind or coder behind it.

My MBM is pretty accurate, but then I don't use a DFI NF4. :(

I stopped using MBM when i bought a new motherboard that wasn't supported... nuff said. MBM also seems to take a century to load (on my NF7-S) :s

Although the results seem to lean toward the fact that clockspeed detecting isn't its strength, I'm starting to think that mine might be because my board's been dying (didn't know it at the time but now it's obvious it's just about dead). I can't use anything other than the max multi on either my 4400+ or my 146, for instance. I get mem errors at the same location regardless of the memory setup.....and MBM shows a random clockspeed of its choice.

It detects everything correctly for me, clock speed, all temps, and even GPU temps. The lcd on my cooler runs from mbm so I have to have it working properly. :)

shouldn't really be more than +/- 2 or 3 MHz

I don't think Alex Van Kaam is dead. He said in his last post that he was just so frustrated with the difficulty he had in obtaining accurate information from mobo and sensor manufacturers.

when it asked you for what DFI board you had what did you choose cause like the DFI NF4 isn't on the list :O

I dont know if i can trust MBM5 voltage readings. My 12V is 11.75 with it, but with Everest it is 12.35. CPU frequency is off by 3Mhz only.

No, It's not in the list and DO NOT USE CONFIGURATION WIZARD.
