Well, I ordered this new psu and I got concerns about it.. I ordered one 7800gtx and a dfi SLI-DR mobo in case I will go SLI now it isn't SLI ready which worries me... now I saw that the shop i ordered it from got the 520w sli ready but it's not in stock yet and Ii should get my parts in couple of days... and I really don't wanna wait longer.. now the real question is will i have any problems running a SLI setup with the 520w not SLI READY or should i wait till the sli ready arrives? what do u think guys? the none sli ready comes with only one pci express connector therefore if i will go sli i will have to buy an adapter? :( tell me what do do guys it's very urgent thank u :/ edit: is the adapter lowers the grapic cards performance/ oc abilities?

I wrote the DFI PSU Guide: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10854 ,
the OCZ PowerStream 520W is my #1 recommendation! :toast:

works great for me in SLI....2x7800GTX and 3800+ no problem for the OCZ.

Well it's my favourite too but I can still change to the ocz powerstream 520w SLI READY, it's not that i cant.. it has a new led fan which is blue instead of green and instead of adapter a 6 pin pci-e connector is it worth it? should i change? I called the shop and they told me it will arrive in the next few days.. should i wait? what would u choose? thank u :P

Well, if you can get the SLi, then please do. That moniker is on the PSU for a reason...

Hoestly dude..taking your time to decide what components you buy is a good thing. Don't rush it, or you end up like me..great system; unable to put it in a case. :stick:

The OCZ 520W is just fine for SLI. I believe that the actual SLI PSU just has two PCIe power connectors so you don't have to waste two molex plugs for your second card.

Either will be great.
